These hobbies are not mere activities for me, they help to shape who I am and how i perceive the world. For instance, reading is a way I can explore different views and opinions on issues such as politics, economics and the different cultures of general society. This has helped me develop a more empathetic view towards different peoples situations and thus sharpened my critical thinking and problem solving skills. Running, on the other hand, has helped me  hone patience and perseverance, especially in terms of my own personal goals and ambitions. My favorite hobby is most definitely swimming. I find moments of calm and peace within the waves that not only test my endurance but also enrich my personal development. Together, these reflect the values I uphold; curiosity, patience, endurance and adaptability.
