Summary

I am a Forest ecologist and environmental scientist with a background in forest management, project management, ecology, botany and GIS. I have grown as in project officer in forestry and conservation, in both the laboratory and the field. I am a driven individual and a team player, striving to maintain standards and exceed expectations. I wish to pursue a career in which I can combine ecological research and conservation, and in which I hope to inspire and motivate others.

Project Assistant (Conserve Malawi Project)

  • Assisting in different project activities in Mzimba and Salima funded by JOA.
  • The project involved species mapping, Afforestation, Reforestation, and Natural regeneration
  • Worked with programmes manager to complete complex projects task on time and under-budget.

  • Gained valuable experience working on georeferencing of localities with plant occurrences in Malawi, Zambia, Mozambique and Kenya
