- Identification of capacity-building gap and training needs and build their capacity as well.

- Determine the HR needs for the implementation of nutrition and health activities.
- Taking part in the recruitment of staff in line with HR procedures and consultation with the Field manager and base HR focal person.

- Organize and lead monthly team meetings with implementing local partners to identify challenges and track progress in the program implementation at the different centres develop an action plan and follow up accordingly.

3. Develop and direct operations:
- Contribute to the WVI Health & Nutrition Strategy development.
- Timely and quality implementation of planned activities within the program and communication with the Head of Field Office accordingly.
- Timely and quality reporting, both internal and external (Donors), of the activities of the program, Identifying and proposing the development of new programs.
- Writing the nutritional and medical sections of proposals for activities in the target locations.
- Contribute to the development of the WVI Nutrition Sudan strategy, and roll-out strategy as required.
- Contributing to preparing new project proposals (text, budget, BoQ and HR needs) in collaboration with other WVI National H&N PMs, other sectors’ PMs, and the Field Manager.
- Ensure accurate and quality monthly reporting (narrative and quantitative report) and ensure program reporting by local implementing partners.
- Contribute to donor reporting (frequency according to the donor requirements) by compiling and writing a nutrition narrative on progress.
